Every course is 1-to-1 in a manual or automatic car, with no car sharing. Choose an hourly course of 10 to 40 hours at £40 to £42 an hour, depending on how many hours you book, or our 5-Day Intensive Course: 20 hours of tuition, Monday to Friday, for £1,399.

What is Regal Driving School?

How much do driving lessons cost?
Our hourly courses cost £40 to £42 an hour, depending on how many hours you book, from a 10-hour refresher to a 40-hour beginner course. Our 5-Day Intensive Course costs £1,399 for 20 hours of tuition. View all courses.
Are your driving instructors DVSA approved?
Yes. All our driving instructors are DVSA Approved Driving Instructors (ADIs), and every lesson is 1-to-1, with no car sharing, so your lesson time is yours.
Can I learn to drive in a manual or automatic car?
What is the 5-Day Intensive Course?
It depends on you: everyone learns at a different pace, so course hours are a guide, not a promise. Our 35- and 40-hour beginner courses suit people starting from scratch, the 20- and 25-hour intermediate courses suit learners with some experience, and the 10-hour refresher suits anyone close to test standard.
How many driving lessons will I need?
It's 20 hours of 1-to-1 tuition in a single week, Monday to Friday, 10am to 2:30pm with a 30-minute break each day, for £1,399. You can reserve your place with a £50 deposit, or pay in full and save 5%. Check availability and book online.
Will you book my driving test for me?
No. You book your practical test yourself on GOV.UK: since 12 May 2026, only learners can book and manage their own car driving test. Your instructor will tell you when you're ready and which times they can take you to the test.
Can I have evening or weekend driving lessons?
Yes. We offer evening and weekend lessons, so you can fit them around work, study or shifts.
